After talking with some of the brightest minds in the NJ community, this interview seemed no different. Travis and Luke are extraordinarily caring individuals whose aim is to help their community. After witnessing the substantial waste of many large restaurant chains during a hunger epidemic in our country, these two Princeton High School Seniors wanted to make an impact, so they set up PHS Food Aid, a club at their school.
Their goal is to reduce the number of food insecure individuals in the Princeton/NJ community by setting up food drives and other massive communal activities. With the help of countless volunteers, PHS Food Aid has become a lifeline for many impoverished individuals in the Princeton area. They hope to grow their program to new heights by expanding to a variety of different areas, specifically predominantly poor communities such as Trenton. How they have balanced their objectives, surpassed the restrictions of the pandemic, and continued to keep personal relations with their volunteers are discussed in our interview...
