Sri Nihal Tammana is a young environmental activist and founder of RecycleMyBattery. He grew up in Edison, NJ, and has grown an organization with the help of his loving family and friends. After reading an article on the environmental impact of battery waste, Nihal had been drawn to solving this pressing issue and started RecycleMyBattery. Nihal's personal interest in science and mathematics has further motivated him to have an impact in his community.
Specifically, RecycleMyBattery guides children and adults through the process of recycling batteries safely. Through webinars, educational videos, blog posts, and other content, RecycleMyBattery has and will continue to spread awareness of the issue until the amount of batteries that are wrongly thrown in the garbage can is 0.
